PositiveI would give you a 5 for 1-5. 6 I didn't taste food but the menu items were exciting! Can't speak for activities but seemed like there was a lot to do. I was able to get better pricing in Bradenton but it was an older facility. We liked the Sarasota location better since my client is familiar with the area.

PositiveThere is no care at this facility so I did not answer. I think when most of the people check in here, they do not realize that there is no faculty or staff here after 7:30. Most expect that there is someone to talk to or ask a question. And I don't think the staff realizes that these people are old and each has a special problem of their own. But they need to read up on the geriatric group.

CriticalSince [date removed] this place has been a construction site for interior renovation. 100 residents have endured delays dust noise workers in hallways vying for one elevator access. Sarasota County has issued a stop work order for unpermitted work. Work was begun without a licensed general contractor; one reportedly has been hired though unnamed. No end is in sight.

PositiveExcellent on everything! i really think this move was perfect for my mother, the facility is wonderful and clean. the staff is super nice. if i had a complaint it would be they have a bus that only holds 12 people for a facility with over 100 residents. it is difficult to get your name on a list to go to Walmart when so many people want to go .

CriticalWe chose this community because it was affordable and the location is fantastic. It's also pet friendly and quiet. I would tell a friend, to do their research, talk to as many current residents as possible and not to expect anything special from the dining room, except for breakfast.
