I was very appreciative they gave my mom one month's respite care right after her diagnosis of dementia, but they lacked communication the entire time, it was hard to get ahold of a nurse or any admin staff. My mom never saw a doctor or nurse practitioner while there.

Great Place Overall

It's been a very good experience overall so far, my only 2 concerns/comments is that the floors are always very sticky and look dirty, and I can never seem to find the nurse on duty whenever I am there. I bring in all of my father's medication's from the VA because they are shipped to my house, and the nurse is never in the nurses station or around seemingly. Other than that, I will say that I love [name removed] the Nursing Director, she's always been super helpful and very responsive.

Belvedere had the basics for your loved one. The staff was pleasant. Our greeter did a good job telling us about what Belvedere had to offer. I am still looking. Thank you.

They only took my mom for a few days then sent her back to the hospital after they received payment. My mom did hit another patient and a staff member but with her condition, they should've tried to do better

Thank you for your feedback. It is always very challenging when a resident displays behaviors that are a threat to themselves or other residents. Unfortunately, we must and will always continue to prioritize the safety of your loved one and our other residents and staff. We did not send your mom back to the hospital because we got payment, we sent her out because of the behaviors that were beyond that of what we could safely care for and the immediate concerns for her health and the safety of other residents.

Nice people, subpar facility, and food

The staff are very friendly and they've been responsive whenever asked to handle something. I wish they had the bandwidth to be more proactive. Overall they've been kind and helped with the transition and seem to be patient with my dad. The Food has been the biggest complaint. It's inconsistent in timing and quality. There has been undercooked bacon and the food is often cold. I don't expect it to be the Ritz but it also breaks my heart that I can't afford something better for my Dad.

Overall would recommend

It is a good facility compared to many others I have come in contact with. As with all of these facilities could use a larger caregiver staff.
