Our Family's Experience

The whole staff are very pleasant and care about each resident. They are attentive to residents individual needs and show their respect. I have never witnessed a resident wearing soiled clothing. The facility is clean with a cheerful atmosphere. The meals from what we are told by my mother in law are healthy, taste good and presented nicely in the dining room. Frustrated with system failures and rules of state laws.

They were a little short on the care she needed. She almost needed hospice but didn't qualify for it. Had numerous falls and last one put her in hospital again with no broken bones but contusions. After discharge from hospital to hospice she passed in a week.

Fairly pleased so far

I have a concern with them at the moment. Somehow my mom was able to wheel herself to the road in her wheelchair without anyone knowing. They moved her to memory care because of it. The food is not good and they've had times they did not serve what was on the menu. Otherwise, it's very clean, staff helpful and friendly.

Over all great choice for care

The staff always greets anyone at the door with a welcoming hello and a glad to see you smile. Any staff member is always available to help or answer questions. They make each resident feel right at home. No one is given the impression that they are a burden. The facility is always clean with a home like atmosphere. We have to say the meal menus are great! We like the villa here at Belvedere Commons and everyone is very nice. Nevertheless, there is a real problem with the food. The kitchen staff is usually short handed and not given enough money to buy sufficient food for those they are required to feed. Those being served usually don't get what they are told they will receive on any given day. Usually what is given is in small portions or not on the plate because they ran out.
