Our family's experience

I would give our short time (2 weeks) there 4 stars. Staff was emphatic and patient. There's just not enough of them. The food was a good mixture of items. Lunch and dinner often included soup, a salad, main entree, vegetables and a dessert. Water or juice to drink. Apartment size is adequate. Our choice was to bring in a queen size bed with an adjustable head and foot. The bed takes up more room than other residents' rooms with single beds. Pleasant experience, highly recommend

The room size was adequate for us. [name removed] was only staying for a short time. Bickford was exceptionally accommodating. We were able to book a retreat stay on relatively short notice. The activities were very good and we heard that the food was pretty good too. It was sufficiently clean and the workers seemed to care about the residents. The only negative is that any maintenance requests were not handled in a timely manner. It took a week to figure out the TV service. None of the other workers seemed to know…

Lack of Empathy

I had my mom here for assisted living in this facility a while ago and we have since moved on. While their facility is decent, maybe a little small, their staff and especially higher ups were extremely inconsiderate. Many of the times it was impossible to address concerns like staff letting residents stay soiled for hours or lack of attention with staff on their phone. Caring and family friendly

All the people that were there greet us by our first name. When we have multiple family members there, they bring a cart with fruit, snacks, and drinks.

I was lied to .told that since my check for $[fee removed]was accepted I had a room still have not received repayment. And still need permanent housing This has put me in a very bad situation
