I have complete confidence in Bickford Memory Care to provide my mother the care and dignity every senior deserves. The staff is caring, attentive, patient and responsive. They work hard to provide fun, engaging activities and outings, and have gone out of their way to make my mom feel special. Thank you for helping me. My son is getting settled at Bickford. You were helpful in finding facilities for me to consider. I added others. Some of my considerations were location near north Columbus, friendliness, accepting Medicaid as payment, and programs. I am disappointed in the latter at Bickford because they don't provide a Protestant Christian worship service. They have only a Catholic mass. In this kind of process you must use your best judgment to select a facility and make the best of it.

You need to be very clear with communication and follow up. I think they could have made the transition a lot better. for example, my dad was dropped off from the hospital and no one introduced themselves or showed him around. It wasn't until we got there that someone came in to introduce themselves which at that point it had been 2 1/2 hours later. overall things have been OK but if I don't reach out about things, there are never any solutions. for example if my dad vocalized concerns nothing happens until I foll…
