Unhappy

The room is not clean. Too little staff. Gets down to breakfast. Last table to be served. Cold food. Made a complaint at desk with remark about food. Police called on him. He is mentally stable. He had money stolen and no one called on him at that time. It does not do any good to complain to anyone there. For the price of almost $[fee removed] a month, he should be living like a king. I hope my complaint will not be taken out on my spouse.

Wonderful Facility

Our mom has really enjoyed living at Highgate. The staff is friendly, caring, and efficient. The food is outstanding. There are many activities offered with a large variety to meet the varied interests of the residents. When we’ve had a concern, it was quickly addressed and remedied.

Wonderful place to live!

Highgate Senior Living has exceeded my expectations. I love that the residents have their pets with them! I love the abundance of activities offered for entertainment! The dining hours works for everyone's individual wants and needs. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Well done!

Review of Margaret Conover Care

When Mom was moved to Highgate from Bella Terra, somehow her prescription schedule was not passed on to the ladies that hand out the prescriptions. I had to make the staff aware after she had a half day lasps in her medications. Mom is scheduled to get her clothes washed on Mondays but she has to often remind the caregiver to do so. Alzheimer’s Cottage Side

We have had my Mom there with Alzheimer’s since 2015. They kept her on the regular side until she fell and broke her hip. They were very accommodating and great there. I have not been overly impressed about the overall care of my Mom since being moved to the cottage. Not sure if they are understaffed or the staff is struggling to deal with chaos in regards to dealing with patients who are memory deprived. I did talk about this and am closely watching to see if the changes that were promised happen. My sister lives …

Mom has been here for 8 years and feels safe and cared for by staff. The director was receptive to my feedback about a recent concern I had and we worked it out to my satisfaction.
