PositiveFriendly staff that cares
There has been quite a bit of turnover in the management staff lately but it hasn't affected the day to day care as far as I've seen. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful.

PositiveAssisted Living for Mom
A small, nice, tight knit facility that is taking great care of my mom. The staff and residents are like a second family to her. They made sure to make her feel very welcome right from the start. The staff as well as the residents are now considered friends! It isn't "Home", but its as close as any facility could be. Highly recommend!

I had some trouble at first setting up the online rent pay. The director at that time (she's since moved on)was very unhelpful, and difficult to work with. Since then they have a new director: [name removed] who is lovely. She was prompt and helpful in my request to move my mom to a different ( larger room). It is very clean, but sometimes my moms room smells a little, but nothing like the other place. I would recommend Birchrock Castle to others because it's small, family-like, cozy and clean. My mom has been there for less than a month, so I'm not sure about the food, and my mom is not fussy, but I heard the food is homemade. The staff is kind. Communication with the family has been good, so far. Overall, things have been very good so far and we are happy that we made the move.
