PositiveOur family's experience
They are doing a lot of maintenance and cosmetic updates since acquiring it in May 2026. I haven't eaten there but Mom says it's better than the last place. Mom doesn't participate in the activities but all of the staff are caring. Not sure if all assisted living clients are suffering mild/moderate dementia like Mom but she has her own apartment and can move freely about the building- front door is the only way in/out and always locked Gives a sense of not living with severe dementia like the last place she lived

CriticalDangerously understaffed
Sometimes only ONE caregiver per floor. Not possible for safety, let alone care; especially on the Memory Care (dementia) floor. No apparent interest in raising staffing ratio. Most of the new hires are not interested in patient care, & the (mostly exceptional) older hires are becoming rapidly disenchanted. Other issues I won't go into, as they just took over recently, & need time to address.

I like the room she got, very clean and cozy and private, and the staff was always ready to help and checking on her to may sure that she was fine. Everyone was very friendly. It was an excellent unfortunately my sister was there temporary I wish she could have been permanently. Excellent place for a loved one.

I have to give Brickford the highest rating (5) They took care of my sister in every way while I was away for a month, excellent attention from the staff and management, only wish that my sister could've decided to stay permanently, it would've been a great relief knowing that she was in good hands. They also offered help with the insurance which I think was great.
