Welcome to Bridgewater Memory Care, where we lead with dignity and promote independence — all while providing high quality memory care to all residents. We are located in Granbury, Texas, about an hour south of Fort Worth. With close proximity to area restaurants, shopping, and other community amenities as well as easy highway access, residents can stay connected while enjoying all the comforts of our care! Community Amenities and Services We pride ourselves in providing personalized care to each of our residents, meeting their needs however we can. We specialize in memory care, ambulatory care, diabetic care, incontinence care, and medication management. With a team of doctors and therapists available to make on-site visits, you don’t have to leave our community to receive expert care. Our staff is specially trained in memory care and is ready to help ensure residents are happy, healthy, and cared for. All of our residents enjoy home-style meals in our dining room. We take pride in providing delicious and nutritious meals and are happy to make dietary accommodations or try new recipes for you! In between meals, take advantage of our state of the art campus. Take a walk in the garden, get your hair done at the beauty salon, read a book on the patio, have a cup of coffee in the living room, and more! Looking for more structured activities? Our events calendar is jam packed with fun activities from morning till night. Explore a new hobby, try a new way of exercising, practice your faith, gather for a movie night, and more. Living Arrangements Our community provides studio and one-bedroom apartments. All of our spacious floor plans have an abundance of natural light and comfortable, mid-century furnishings. Rooms are wheelchair accessible and feature WiFi, cable or satellite TV, and ground floor units are available. Bathtubs and wheelchair-accessible showers are also available in many of our units. Our specifically designed for memory care community is secure and enclosed to ensure the safety of residents. We would love to welcome you to Bridgewater Memory Care today. Care Types Offered Bridgewater Memory Care is a Type B assisted living facility . In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows: Assisted Living Facility A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities: Type A: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted. Type B: A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair. Type C (Adult Foster Care): Four-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program. The facility provides supervision and personal care services to residents.
