Review for Brighton Gardens of Mountainside

My mom has been there for about 7 weeks and she is adjusting to it and has surprisingly become a little more social as well. Of course we just have to get used to people don't do things the way we would do it but on a hole we are very happy with the decision of going there and my mom felt comfortable because she used to work there as well.

I think overall the experience has been very positive. The staff has been wonderful. My mom is in memory care so it's a slightly different situation but I would definitely recommend

We toured the facility with my mother in law. It’s very clean and well appointed. They were having a family luncheon during our visit so many of the residents were there with family. The staff seemed very engaged with the residents and my overall impression was very positive.

The staff are nice and the place is clean. My mom's biggest complaint is that sometimes she presses the button for assistance and it takes a long time. The shared room is very small. The small studio is a nice size and bright.

Well being comes first

The insistence of placing my mother as soon as possible for her well being was appreciated. Very clean place

Friendly staff

Extremely caring and helpful staff. They could sometimes be stretched thin, which became an issue when my mom's health worsened. But they really took care with her and I felt they created a warm environment. She didn't love the food. The rooms were clean and a decent size.
