Unique environment

A five (5) on all categories. Juniper Village's size, setting, and unique setup impressed us the most. Though large with many different gathering spots, the environment was intimate rather than overwhelming. The setting in terms of the shaded drive-through entrance and the various outdoor enclosed patios was also very pleasing, but it was the interspersed living arrangements that won us over. In other words, residents presently "age in place" there and they are not divided up according to the level of care required…

Attentive-Cheerful-Accomodating-Kind

We recently moved a dear relative into Juniper Village from a hospital in NYC. I can't tell you how inviting and smoothe the transfer was to Juniper Village. [name removed] was so kind and helpful. The entire staff came out to greet us and made our cousin feel so welcome and comfortable. Since our cousin has been atJuniper she has been able to quickly make new friends and be apart of the community. We feel very blessed to have her there at Juniper Village and are exceedingly thankful to the entire staff.

Critical

Initially great then a decline of activities and administrative response

Juniper Village at Chatham is a very clean place. The staff is very pleasant. My mother's room is quite small but that's because my sister chose that size of accommodations up until Sunday. Everything was fine but I was very disturbed on Sunday when another resident was calling for help because her private aid never showed up and I had to go to try to get AIDS from the facility to come and help her and they didn't show up for over a half hour so it seems like they're having staffing problems at this time.

A Wonderful Place

We recently moved a loved one to Juniper and could not be happier. Our family fretted over our choice of AL facilities but after visiting Juniper, our decision was easy. Every staff member has made our family feel welcome and extremely helpful with questions and requests. The food in the dining room is also of a high quality. I cannot say enough good things about the Juniper community.
