I recommend Brighton Gardens and it was Meredith from A Place for Mom who recommended taking a look at this facility. I am forever grateful to Meredith. It was a stressful time realizing my aunt could no longer live on her own and Meredith made things very easy for me.

Mixed reviews

The aids, activity staff and management are all warm and patient. My mother is in a 1 bedroom unit ~500 sq ft, which is the largest unit I was able to find at 4 facilities. The carpet is commercial and the walls are an unappealing taupe - rather depressing. Closet space is good. Housekeeping limited - laundry, quick vacuum, bathrooms. Expected more thorough process. The low rating is for the food - awful, bland, unappealing and the wait staff can be impatient. My mother hasn't found many activities of interest …

A wonderful Place for Mom

I made a really good choice picking Brighton Gardens its a great senior living facility from the sale staff to maintenance. My mom is really happy here, she even thank me. [names removed] always accommodating. The nursing staff and attendants all that lookout for mom are great! The facility is beautiful, clean, modern. The activities are good for her health and she likes participating in the exercise classes. Thank you Brighton Gardens keep up the good work!

Location and facility is first class. However, the 2-year minimum stay to qualify for Medicaid is quite steep.

incompetence personified

I found the staff to be indifferent for the most part and the management lacking any compassion at all. As for the food, I would not consider what was served there to be anything more than dessicated pet food. I was told I could not remain in the room while my loved one was prepared for bed because of concern for the patients's privacy. I think this ridiculous explanation had more to do with what they prefer to keep hidden, ie, gross incompetence. I would like to add that my loved one contracted MRSA and pneumoni…
