Sunrise of Livingston is an assisted living community located on a 3.3-acre site in the prosperous city of Livingston, New Jersey. Just 40 minutes outside New York City, this community offers easy access to nearby shopping, dining, parks, and medical support. The community features a senior-friendly design and American Colonial-style architecture. They also have transitional wallpaper that helps seniors with dementia navigate the community. Each of the beautifully designed residences features large windows that let in plenty of light and offer views of the surrounding forest. The community's interior features bright, airy spaces with artwork by local artists, cozy seating, and a piano. The beautifully landscaped outdoor areas include a paved walkway and a paved outdoor patio with a fireplace. In addition to assistance with activities of daily living, residents at Sunrise of Livingston have access to an activities calendar designed to nurture mind, body, and spirit while encouraging residents to live with purpose. Residents also receive three daily meals prepared by the chefs with fresh, seasonal ingredients. Sunrise of Livingston includes several safety features to help seniors live comfortably and independently. The community features an emergency response system, and the Sunrise CareConnect electronic health record system helps caregivers provide the highest quality care possible. 81yr old live at sunrise if livingston for 2 months. Beautiful facility but not well run. Limited activities, meals were extremely slow service ( food was wonderful) physical therapy was great, but nursing manager was the reason she relocated. Currently live at another sunrise and it’s happily ever after

I visit my friends frequently at Sunrise of Livingston. The weekends frequently have live music in the bistro and they have baked goods (lately sometimes) and coffee for everyone. The staff have been consistently attentive to my friend despite staff changes. She is well cared for. I would recommend Sunrise of Livingston for friends who want their loved one to enjoy an enriching day.
