There are no activities, in lamar! It's like prison

My dad was there for a week and a half, and he was soaked, and yes, he probably shouldn't have been an independent living center. But, instead of the live in staff, clean him up, one of the stuff that works a couple days a week had to go and shower him! So bad that he had sores on his bottom. The staff is horrible. Not just my father, but to all of the residents! When we did our tour it looked great, until my dad was actually there, and then everything went South....

I was not impressed with Bristol Manor. To me it looked like a prison, it was a long hallway with rooms on either side. I did not like the set up of the rooms, it was one room and then the living room was separated by a wall. I wouldn't recommend.

I Feel Right At Home

My loved one loves it here. The community feels homey and cozy for them, and exactly what they wanted. The rooms could be a bit bigger. They seem to be short on staff currently. The community has puzzles, games, and tv for the residents.
