Our Family’s Experience.

The people working there were kind, but the quality of care was disappointing. The biggest concern was that needs weren’t consistently met, and it didn’t feel like the level of care matched what was being paid for. The facility was acceptable, and the food and activities were average, but overall the experience was disappointing. It ultimately became clear that this wasn’t the right fit.

[name removed] was wonderful and very helpful. [name removed] the nurse is awesome! She is very direct and professional and caring. The room care could be better had to ask for [name removed] room to be cleaned several times. He was in need of medical care which was missed and he was on the floor when I got there and couldn't get up.

Overall nice community

Staff is usually quite attentive to my aunt. The PA, [name removed], and the nursing staff is very good with her and ensure our directions are followed. The lady at the desk keeps an eye out for her as well and ensure her friends who come to visit have an enjoyable time without a gentleman who is not always happy to see my aunt have visitors. A wonderful place! The team is so pleasant. They make Sunrise a happy place. Everyone is well cared for and the place is clean and inviting. Remarkable people make a wonderful place.

Would highly recommend Brookdale for anyone looking for a home for their loved one in need of additional assistance in their later years. The staff n nurses n everyone we encountered made us feel safe n welcome.

It took over 6 months for them to get billing correct, long story. Mom and [name removed] really like most of the staff. Especially [name removed], who is really helpful and caring. My mom is always happy when [name removed] is working. I do realize it is hard to get and keep good help these days. The nurses seem good also. And, they have met some nice people and made some friends.
