Our experience was disappointing overall. We were initially told our loved one could stay in assisted living, but after he moved in, we were informed he needed memory care instead. While we agreed he did need memory care, we already had another facility in mind that we preferred for that level of care, so we felt misled during the admission process. Brookdale is a blessing

Brookdale is wonderful! The staff is attentive and caring. My dad is in memory care and they have engaging activities and outings. The facility he was in previously was horrible. It smelled like excrement and death, my kids commented it was creepy and gave The Shining vibes. His condition has improved since we moved him to Brookdale. The staff is the best! They care. It is truly a family. [names removed] have all been a blessing to my family.
