Experience: Blessing

The complete focus of the entire staff on the residents. (Activity Directors, Marketing Director, Nursing Directors, etc...) I could tell it was the expectation for all and they were all in it together. My father had been there a little over a month and I am more impressed every day. Got a call today from the Director of Nursing. She noticed my Dad was struggling to make a call on his cell phone. He was trying to call me. So she used her phone and called me so he could talk to me. Who does that? She could have been…

[name removed] and the staff at Brookdale were AMAZING! It is very obvious that the care of the individual is the top priority! I walked away feeling positive about the potential to place my father in a facility that would care for him like family. I don't know how they do it, but it is impressive!

Very bright and cheerful. No bad smells. Has a library. Staff is helpful and will let you know how your relative is doing . Food is pretty good. You can bring in food for a party.per friendly. Have a lot of programs for the person staying there and also for the family

Truly caring community

This is a wonderful community with highly trained, compassionate staff. Every member of the staff, including administration, kitchen, nursing staff and of course the caregivers, are trained and experienced with how to interact with people with dementia, and treat the residents with respect and dignity. They are all attentive and highly responsive to any requests or concerns from families. While very professional, the community also feels much more like an extended family than a business. Brookdale Cary review

I thought Brookdale Cary was very expensive, but I have no other facilities to compare the cost to. Most of the staff were very caring to both my wife and me.

Our Experience

My loved one was previously a resident at Brookdale Cary and we didn't have a good experience overall. I moved my loved one out after about a month. There was not enough supervision and help for my loved one. I regret putting my loved one there.
