Brookdale Columbia

Dad is happy!

So far I would give it a 5. The place is clean, the food is good, the staff is friendly, they are open and upfront with pricing and communication is easy. My dad seems to be doing very well there.

Questions 1-8 all would be a 5. Brookdale staff are truly the best and I can't say enough good things about them. They become like family and really care about the people staying there. I think because it's a smaller facility and many of the staff have worked there for a long time. That's a good sign of a good working environment.

My dad is happy there. Staff is treating him well, as well as myself. The food smells amazing anytime I walk in. Nice and clean. Very friendly

Overall would recommend

Staff was very accommodating during respite stay. Our friend is very reclusive and they were mindful of that and kind to him. The room was very nice with ample space. Large window was a plus!

Brookdale Experience

Overall I guess Brookdale is a decent facility. The staff is kind and friendly. The food is good and they eat faithfully 3 meals a day. What I don't like is how they charge extra for a lot of things they help the patients with like bathing and help walking to the dinning area or help putting their clothes on. I also had an incident with my mother's medicine but it was resolved quickly.

Great facility

I highly recommend Brookdale Columbia to others. It is a great assisted living facility!
