Brookdale Fillmore Pond

We were very happy with our visit to Brookdale Fillmore Pond. Their team did an amazing job of explaining to our family how everything worked at the facility. Upon our second visit which included my mother, the team did a great job covering the entire facility and answering questions for my mother. We have decided to place my mother there. It will be occurring this month.

Brookdale Fillmore Pond

The staff is friendly and caring. They work very hard to make sure everyone is well fed and comfortable. The atmosphere is very "homey". They could improve on the food choices and quality. The activities are fine for the most part, but many people are just in front of the TV.

Good place for our loved one right now

He seems to be happy. Comes and goes as he wants to. For him the apartment size is perfect. He thinks it is farther out of town than he would like but he drives and for right now we think it is fine.

Staff was very helpful moving in and helping us with the transition. They're doing a great job pairing [name removed] with residents with similarities. They're doing staff engages her with family photos.

Our loved one has now passed but Brookdale Fillmore Pond were wonderful to her and our family. We felt that the community had a coziness and charm to it and we would absolutely recommend them to other families

Generally pleased so far.

We have been generally pleased. We haven't been here long enough to participate in activities. The few residents we've met are friendly. We've only had dinners but have been pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. I wish there was a fitness room, a workshop, and an indoor pool, but this is Bennington, VT and those amenities are not realistically expected here. The staff are helpful and friendly.
