Staff always accommodating and friendly. Flexible and helpful when mom had to be hospitalized for a stroke and then returned to Equinox. Good communicators.

A Great Place for Mom.

The facility is very clean and is furnished beautifully, which gives it an excellent first impression. But, more importantly, every staff member we have interacted with is very caring and concerned about my mother-in-law. They treat her with respect and kindness. The activities are varied, and the activities director and other staff try hard to get her involved in the social activities. She is way more active than she was at home, watching tv most days. Would overall recommend

Management is very assessable to discuss the issues. Very accommodating about visitation and flexible regards taking patient out for days at a time. Staff is supportive, understanding and able and willing to assist in all areas of care, even the most humiliating circumstances.

I only wish we'd moved to Equinox Terrace first!

I cannot say enough good things about Equinox Terrace. I brought my mother to Vermont from Massachusetts, and she was at another facility for 10 months. I was displeased (that is an understatement!) with the level of care she was receiving there, and it was obvious that my mother was declining because of lack of stimulation and lack of understanding, so I moved her to Equinox Terrace.
