Located on beautifully manicured grounds in an exclusive neighborhood of River Ranch, you’ll discover Brookdale Lafayette — a family-oriented assisted living and memory care community. Our community sits quietly in the heart of Lafayette, Louisiana, which is conveniently close to major hospitals, shopping centers, and more. Residents and families can rest easy knowing we are in close proximity to Our Lady of the Lourdes Regional Medical Center, as well as the Regional Medical Center of Acadiana. Trained team members are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to any emergencies, providing extra peace of mind. In addition to offering assistance with personal tasks like bathing, dressing, or grooming, we happily assist with your transportation, meals, and chores, as well. While you indulge in homemade meals and watch your worries disappear, you can invite loved ones over to enjoy the community perks. Reserve our rental room and host a themed party, or try baking a new, tasty recipe in the community kitchen. There is a game room on-site, perfect for some friendly competition, and a cozy living room in which to relax. Guest suites are readily available in case friends or loved ones would like to stay the night. With two levels of care featuring distinct neighborhoods and living spaces for each resident, it’s easy to age in place here. If there is anything we can do to make your time or meals more enjoyable, we encourage you to let us know. Community Services and Amenities With over two acres of landscaped grounds you’ll have ample opportunity to spend your day soaking up the Louisiana sun. Of course, you’ll also have plenty of time to embrace all of the popular indoor amenities, as well. Book a haircut at the salon, or spend some quality time relaxing at the chapel or the library. We also schedule special group trips to local museums rich in history, exciting sporting events, and performances by the Acadiana Symphony. Here, you can be as active as you desire. Join us for daily activities or plan something special on your own. If you need assistance with errands, our team is happy to step up. Plus, through our Personal Solutions program, we can deliver personal hygienic items directly and privately to your door, at no extra cost. Each room includes its own temperature control, a kitchenette, and a private, wheelchair-accessible bathroom. PositiveWhen I first started the journey of finding a place for my mom. I thought it was going to be tougher than it actually was. When I walked into the Brookdale community it was like coming home. It was pretty, nice, clean, caring and people with smiles all around. I had visited various communities but kept going back to Brookdale. Every time the Director [Name Removed] was there to welcome me. I wasn’t going to live there but didn’t want to leave either. I highly recommend this facility and its staff. The direction the…

Recently, I was visiting when the care giver came in to help her shower & dress. I was able to overhear their conversation and it warmed my heart to hear their interactions. There was an obvious caring relationship because th…
