We’re a family owned and operated facility and have been offering assisted living services in our community since 1985. To us, it is a privilege to treat residents as we would want our family treated, and our mission is to carry that out in everything we do — with respect, dignity and compassion. Getting to and from a variety of local attractions using our scheduled shuttle bus services is a breeze. In a matter of minutes you could enjoy a day of shopping at the Stirling Lafayette Shopping Center or take a trip to the George Dupuis Recreation Center and Brown Memorial Park. Community Services and Amenities When you step into Courtyard Retirement and Assisted Living, you’re greeted with the smells of home cooked meals and freshly baked goods. You’ll find every room is filled with natural light and decorated with cozy, country-style decor. We take great pride in cultivating a community that fosters true southern hospitality through a warm, friendly environment. Medical services on site include medication management, access to 24-hour nurse care, and assistance with daily activities, among other services. More advanced services, such as physical or occupational therapy, are available at the Therapy Center on-site. Whether it be long-term or temporary, respite care, we’re here to provide a safe, caring environment for all. Our community culture is enriched with several on-site, nature-focused activities, arts and crafts, baking, and so much more. Residents can spend their morning tending to our raised bed gardens and socializing, or enjoy an afternoon of fishing at the community pond. We have live music weekly as well, so don’t forget your dancing shoes! Without the stress of maintaining a household, residents are free to explore their interests and engage in one of our many scheduled activities. We often coordinate group outings where residents can explore the surrounding community, enjoy shopping or grab a bite to eat. Living Arrangements Our community offers cozy, wheelchair-accessible studio and one-bedroom apartment options. Each unit offers views of the courtyard and surrounding greenery, adding to the coziness of the community. After years of taking care of a home, we provide weekly laundry and maid services for all residents. You or your loved ones can embrace peace of mind living at Courtyard Retirement and Assisted Living. State Classification Courtyard Retirement and Assisted Living provides Level 3 adult residential care . In the state of Louisiana, these terms are defined as follows: Adult Residential Care Adult residential care refers to facilities that provide adult residential care for compensation to two or more adults. Adult residential care includes but is not limited to the following services: lodging, meals, medication administration, intermittent nursing services, assistance with personal hygiene, assistance with transfers and ambulation, assistance with dressing, housekeeping, and laundry.
