PositiveA Caring Staff and Well Kept Facility
Staff in my experience was very good. At times even though it was their responsibility they took the time to assist my brother in troubles with phone or other matters. That was helpful to him and us since we are 1 1/2 hrs away . When he passed from a stroke, the facility and staff were helpful and sympathetic. Held a memorial for him ,us and clients who wanted to honor him.

It is not perfect, but has some of the best caregivers who really want to work with senior citizens. But, be prepared because you will not get to sit and soak. Brookdale has a busy schedule from exercise to trips to Bingo. It occurs to me (after a year at Brookdale!) that I have failed to thank A Place for Mom for finding this place for me. It made the transition for me so much easier.

[name removed] really grew to love it there at Brookdale Lake Charles. The staff are very welcoming to clients and family. Hired new staff in kitchen , food have really stepped up. Get together for family and clients with meal and social . Assist family who live away to stay connected to the family member.
