The Verandah Retirement Community

My mother visited three different facilities and the Verandah is the only one she got excited about. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The apartments are homey and roomy. We had lunch there and the food was so delicious. The chef even came out to introduce himself to us. We had to work some things out to get my mother in, but we are grateful to God that it all worked out. [name removed] was wonderful to work with!

Average experience at above average cost.

Nurses and aides are wonderful. Food options are good but food is often not warm and service is slow. Following through with services they claim to offer. Better communication from administration. Housekeeping inside unit is subpar. [name removed] nurse practitioner was not onsite either time we needed appointments having to use urgent care off site. For the price services should be better.

Mom has a good relationship with the nurses and caregivers. She's also met the people in food services and enjoys the variety of meals. She especially enjoys being able to order from a menu if she doesn't care for the scheduled entrée. Medications are distributed by the nurses and they strictly follow the dosage / frequencies. We have had nothing but positive people They are caring , helpful, supportive to all of my parents needs. They make sure my dad has a menu to pick from. He is a picky eater. They are awesome. Always ready help.

Very pleased with Verandah

[name removed][ is now in memory care at the Verandah. I am very pleased with the staff and miss [name removed] the entertainment leader there. I will give them a 5 on it all in that department. Also, their chef, who is relatively new, is phenomenal. They make memory care.

Everyone is friendly and helpful. It is a place I would want to reside if I needed assisted living Apartments are good size and very nice. The entire place is well kept, inside and out.
