PositiveHighly recommended
I really liked Brookdale. And I think my sister did too. I've recommended Brookdale to several folks. They did have an issue with her sink and she could not use it for a month. Her room was a decent size and and the maintenance guys were great. Helping with shelving and hanging pictures. The staff was friendly and easy to work with. She would have liked a couple of group outings and a few more activities, for those that could get out. I would definitely use that facility again if I needed too.

The management staff was accommodating and generally responsive to our concerns. Unfortunately, our experience with the nursing and general staff was much less positive. They were often unresponsive, came across as rude, and communication was difficult at times. Another major issue was the lack of transparency regarding costs. I love the family holiday events. I like that my dad was able to move from the regular residence to memory care seamlessly. All members of the staff are friendly and helpful. They took the time to get to know my dad by asking me about him both as a regular resident and again when he moved to memory care. It's a nice, small community.

Staff are overwhelmed. The rooms are generously sized and kept cleaning. The common areas are quite limiting, the residents are in a lockdown wing and there's not a lot of room to move about. Residents who are there for memory Care should be on a hydration plan which means staff have offered and the resident has consumed sufficient water.
