About the community
A Brookdale HealthPlus ® Community The residents at Brookdale Mentor can enjoy the benefits of Brookdale HealthPlus, which offers on-site care coordination overseen by a registered nurse. Here, residents receive personalized care plans and assistance with chronic conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, congestive heart failure, and more. Preventative health care services, such as annual wellness visits, immunizations, and health screenings are also provided to help avoid trips to doctors’ offices, or unnecessary emergency room visits and hospital stays. Enjoy the endless perks of retirement at Brookdale Mentor, free of the chores and burdens of home ownership. Here, the staff diligently manages residents' care, meals, housekeeping, transportation, and other personal tasks. Whether you’re seeking memory care, or you'd benefit from assisted living services — such as help with bathing, medication management, or with something more specific — your unique needs are priorities. Residents here can also take advantage of Brookdale’s exclusive HealthPlus program. Through this program, you can receive annual wellness checks, immunizations, and health screenings, as well as support with chronic conditions like COPD, diabetes, high blood pressure, and more. If additional care is needed, Brookdale’s registered nurses or care managers can coordinate with outside health care providers. By developing relationships with their doctors and health care professionals, it’s easier for Brookdale's caregivers to establish residents with routine services. In addition to care, safety is a top priority, too. Rest assured, the staff is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to an emergency. Plus, the community features an emergency alert system as an added precaution. The community also offers a host of conveniences, including a concierge service, a beauty and barber shop, postal services, a coffee shop, and a fitness center, all on-site. Community Services and Amenities Residents in assisted living can join their neighbors for enriching activities, such as creative classes, morning fitness programs, social happy hours, and more. For those in memory care, a variety of structured activities are planned daily, which often include pet therapy, musical trivia, and light exercise. A beautiful garden, an arts and crafts studio, a library, and a community room are also available to enjoy. Don’t forget to ask about the Personal Solutions program, too — this helpful program can save residents time and a trip to the store. Just submit a list of needed personal items, such as shampoo, toilet paper, hearing aid batteries, or other necessities, and Brookdale’s team will deliver them directly to your door. Best of all, the delivery is free of charge! Living Arrangements After a fun day of activities, you or your loved one can retreat to a private apartment that looks and feels just like home. Choose from six different options, such as a cozy single studio or a roomy two-bedroom, ranging in size and style. Each space includes a kitchenette, a large bathroom, and ample space for storage. Your pets are also welcome and encouraged to join you here. After all, they are part of the family! Unwind with the peace of mind you deserve when you decide to live here, at Brookdale Mentor. ★★★★★
PositiveEveryone there has been so kind and seems so happy to be working there. The room size is just right for a older person. My mom loves that there are so many different places or rooms to be, she doesn't get bored just with the same old view. I would definitely recommend Brookdale Mentor to others looking for care for a loved one.
★★★★★
PositiveIt was a nice, informative tour of Brookdale. We are just at the “gathering information “ stage and appreciated the time spent with us.
★★★★★
PositiveLiked everything about this facility. Could see my loved one thriving in that environment. Rooms were a good size and nicely appointed. Common areas would definitely promote Socialization. The area was tucked away but easily accessible. And I definitely liked the security.
★★★★★
PositiveI toured the Memory Care Portion, because in our meeting with [name removed] it was Determined that my Mom would best be suited for that area. This was Good to know early on. We even met her Potential Roommate! The place is Very Nice! [name removed] was very knowledgeable and he was very Friendly!
★★★★★
PositiveWe are paying the highest amount you can pay but my mom gets a lot of attention. What we like the most about the community is that the staff - both the nurses and the administrative staff. They seem to genuinely care. We love that there are a LOT of activities.
★★★★★
PositiveThe folks that work here are exceptional. Very friendly will bend over backwards doing things for you. All you have to do is ask. The building itself is very nice. It’s it’s very nice. The only complaint I got I guess is not knowing upfront and this may be my fault what things cost so if I ask for something I know that’s gonna cost ex number dollars so I would like to see that approved where people are informed and upfront of what items cost so we know that either we can order this and pay for it or not.
