The staff is wonderful. They're caring and easy to talk to. My parents feel very comfortable with them. This includes the facility director who is hands-on and spends time with the residents on a daily basis. We highly recommend Brookdale

Very nice staff. The apartments were very small and dark. Common areas were a bit cluttered. The dining room appeared crowded and chaotic.

I have removed my mother from Brookdale manager was very good but the nursing and cleaning staff were horrible. I had to stand outside waiting to let me in several times in the rain and cold which tells me not enough staff. Cleaning was a joke supposed to be to be twice a week but that never happened had to get manager to come I never seen them vacuum her room and look at her bathroom and as far as showers were supposed to twice a week but again never happened had to call the manager and still no results for three …

Overall a great place

My parents are happy there overall. The staff is caring and kind and interact with the residents as if they're friends. My parents appreciate that. The only complaint is that the menu changes after it's been posted and makes it impossible to request alternate menu items in the time frame required. Therefore my parents are forced to eat something that they may not like. This is my parents' perspective so it may not happen like that but that's what they say.

I would recommend it. I like that it's small and there's a lot of contact with the workers because of that. And it's not a long distance to get to anywhere in the building. The administration was friendly and helpful and if Dad hadn't gotten weaker, he would still be there.
