Staff really gets to know and care for residents. There is always signs as well as papers to residents for daily activities. We really love that dad is getting 3 meals a day with a variety to choose from. The dining room and facility are very clean. Dad gets weekly cleaning in his room, as well as linen changes with laundry day. We noticed a change in dad due to 3 things: socialization, proper medications daily and nutrition. Great facility - staff and residents seemed happy and engaged. Lots of activities and structure for the residents.

My father was recently at this facility for rehabilitation. The staff was very supportive of our family’s efforts to celebrate his birthday in tough circumstances. Now that my mother is also seriously ill, we are close to making a decision to move them to assisted living. A smaller community like this could meet their needs well, though the apartments themselves could use some updates. The location is also very convenient for us.

The BEST decision we made for Dad!

Dad is really happy! It was really nice to have all admin come to room and greet us. [name removed] made me at ease, felt like home was a great choice for dad. Nursing staff was very thorough and also put me at ease, answering all questions and getting his meds on track. Loved the fact for first few weeks staff guided him for meals and to room. Overall it's great. Very nice apartment, good food and attentive staff. Without hesitation I would recommend it to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

Our family's experience

Overall, the diet experience has been OK. My mother-in-law doesn't love the food, but meals have been prepared in a timely fashion. The staff is very friendly. She has not participated in any of the activities so I cannot speak to that. Some concerns might include uncertainty or not clear on who is responsible for things such as setting up the Internet or getting the cable to work And not being able to get an answer from anybody on how to proceed.
