Attentive staff

We cannot rate the activities because my mom doesn't participate too much. I feel like they have been very attentive to mom. The food is good and I've had good repoire with the staff. I have visited every assisted living facility in this town and this one is the nicest one!

The tour was outstanding, she was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The facility was very clean and organized.

While my mother ended up needing more care than an assisted living situation can provide, I would have loved to have her in this memory care facility! It was clean, homey, and the caregivers seemed kind and engaged. It is obvious they are geared toward helping those experiencing dementia have both safety and a sweet quality of life.

Harvest provided an exceptional virtual tour and easily answered all my questions regarding the memory care unit. I am completely satisfied and believe that Brookdale Sikes Lake would be a better fit for my sister [Name Removed]. Currently I am working with an [Name Removed] County Courts, APS, etc. to be appointed as permanent guardian of my sister. Until I am awarded, I cannot move her. Things didn’t start out perfectly, but overall the experience turned out to be very good. My first contact with the company was great, but she later moved on to another company. Her replacement was also very kind. We did have a small misunderstanding about the type of care that could be provided. It involved not being able to keep my sister from falling out of bed, but that was resolved by placing her mattress on the floor. The staff is very accommodating and the facility is always clean. The room my dad has is super cute. They clean and to laundry. This facility meets our needs. They need to season the food. Very bland. The rolls are as hard as a rock. The only meal the my dad really likes is breakfast. He only goes down for dinner is to visit with his friends at the table.
