Great experience with Assisted Living

This was my brother's first time needing assisted living. The first 2 weeks were difficult for him. The staff went out of their way to make him feel at home. Having good food was a big plus. After the initial adjustment, he loved living there. They let him use a room to have bible studies with his friends from church. He was able to impress them with the coffee machine that dispenses great coffee, cappuccino, and other drinks all for free. They convinced him to try some activities. Brookdale Senior Living was perfect for me…smaller, quant, friendly, and has everything I want and need. [name removed] was terrific in showing me around….she is a special person!! The place could use some additional TLC in terms of updating and improving its appearance….mostly cosmetics. I would suggest new carpeting and outdoor landscaping maintenance..!! Our experience

Leadership Staff turned over within one month of being there. It's caused some problems with communication. Additionally, billing has been challenging as the corporate office and the Tarpon Springs office don't agree on what is due and when. This has resulted in my Dad being sent bills that he doesn't owe on. This is a concern as he has some confusion and I worry about him paying bills that don't actually need to be paid. Homey atmosphere

My brother did not want to go to assisted living. The staff went out of their way to help him make the adjustment. I have found all the staff to be super friendly and helpful. The food is great and guests to a meal is only $[fee removed]. There is a wonderful homey feeling at Brookdale.

A great place to call home

Brookdale is a very friendly caring facility. The rooms are spacious enough and many residents feel comfortable leaving their doors open to welcome neighbors and staff to stop by for visits The building is older and has had leaking roof issues, but maintenance gets on it quickly, though corporate has not given it a permanent fix The sales rep, DoN, receptionists and many of the nurses and CNA's are kind, considerate, and take a real interest in the residents. This is a fantastic place to live. Very active with lot of things do. Very pleasant and helpful staff always smiling and going overboard to please. Food is excellent with varied menu. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. This is home.
