Brookdale’s team members provide round-the-clock support and are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to be alerted to an emergency situation. Some additional safety features on-site include, color-coding, keypad entries, dementia-friendly menus, enclosed courtyards, and personalized apartment entryways with shadow boxes to promote recognition. Here, the helpful team assists with meal preparation, transportation, housekeeping, home maintenance, and other daily chores. In addition to monitoring tedious tasks, the staff provides individualized care. Brookdale Wilmington uses two exclusive programs, the Clare Bridge and Solace program, to provide residents with enriching daily activities and grooming assistance, as needed. Each resident receives consistent care assignments and tailored care plans to help ensure their needs are met. You can count on the staff to learn about your loved one’s unique history, routine, and general preferences to promote a smooth transition and experience overall. Community Services and Amenities Residents are encouraged to participate in group or solo activities each day, with options like gardening, musical programs, art workshops, fitness classes, and more. Additionally, the library, arts and crafts studio, and beautiful garden are available to use, too. If needed, a concierge service, beauty/barber shop, and a delivery service are available to help. Residents can send the staff a list of items like mouthwash, soap, or other necessities, and the items will be delivered directly to their door. Living Arrangements Choose between a private suite or a semi-private suite to fill with cherished belongings and decor. Each apartment includes a bathroom, closet space, and plenty of natural light. The staff is also close by to answer questions or assist with moving or hanging up photos.
