When we realized our dad could no longer live alone safely and needed medication management, we wanted a place where he would be cared for with dignity, kindness, and respect. Cadence has far exceeded every expectation. Clean, welcoming, and well maintained, the beautiful grounds create a peaceful setting for residents & visitors. All 5. This is the best place ever. My brother loves it at cadence. I feel comfortable with him there. I like the activities they have for the assisted living and memory care residents. They have outings and games. Veteran meetings and more.

CriticalHas room for improvement
The food needs to be improved. They would benefit from more private rooms. They are friendly but no we would not recommend Cadence at Wake Forest to other families. We ended up moving my mother due to an issue she had with a roommate they could not resolve.

PositiveExperience at Cadence of Wake Forest
My Mom recently moved into Cadence of Wake Forest. After months of touring communities close by, Mom decided on Cadence. When a room came available, we had a lot to do but it all worked out. Mom loves her place, the staff, the other residents, and the activities they offer. Her taste buds have changed and she isnt crazy about the meals; but to be fair, she doesnt like meals when we go out either. She is very happy and that's really all that matters.

PositivePerfect fit
It has only been a month! But I hope everything stays this way. The facility is well maintained, all admin staff has been very easy to get to and talk too. All support staff when they change shifts stop in to say hi to my loved one. He says the food is fantastic!!

PositiveFriendly atmosphere
We chose this facility because of the cleanliness and the very friendly staff. When you walk in everyone is treated the same with friendliness. You have to be involved with your relative, so you know if they need help. It is best if you are proactive. The concierge staff are excellent.
