PositiveI think the administration and most of the staff really tried to care for my husband. However, there were some nurses in the rehab area downstairs that were truly excellent and others that had a very bad attitude and could care less if they did a good job. The administration was aware of this problem as well. As far as the assisted living area, my husband was there about two weeks when he took a horrendous fall and was very seriously injured. In all fairness, my husband was a huge problem in that he was constantly …

PositiveI feel as a family member you need to address any concerns you have with the facility or staff immediately. Don't just think it will resolve itself. If the management doesn't know you have concerns they can't address them. The staff at care one was wonderful and caring. You just need to keep the lines of communication open!

PositiveMost of the staff and nurses were very nice, but some of the nurses on the rehab unit were very unfriendly and dismissive-would not answer questions or help you. My husband was in both the rehab area and dementia unit--assisted living. Some of the aides in assisted living were excellent - others were fair. I had to monitor his personal care as far as showers and brushing teeth, shaving, etc. In the assisted living unit, he had his own private shower but the PT would not let him get a shower bc they felt he was not …

PositiveMy loved one is a fairly new resident at CareOne at Wayne Memory Care. Overall, things have been good so far. Including the cleanliness, meals, and activities. The friendliness has been great. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

PositiveWe're happy with this community. Mom is stimulated with daily activities, they have a good variety. She's actually improved since being here. We feel like she's in a better place than she was when we first moved her here! Housekeeping is pretty much everyday and laundry once a week. They do a great job. The staff is phenomenal, kind, and attentive. I would recommend them to family and friends.

CriticalThey are building a new building here. During our tour the entry is at the nursing home area to get to the assisted living area. The Director of Admissions was new and I didn't have enough trust with them.
