Promises way more than they deliver. The "assisted" in Assisted Living is virtually non-existent even when you are paying for elevated levels of care. Don't go if you need any actual help except medicine administration and even that is a challenge. Totally overpriced for poor care. Would NEVER recommend. The short time that my mother was there we hired a full time outside aide to assist her.

My mom had a tough adjustment to her new home, but everyone at Sunrise helped with making her feel at home. Everyone from the staff is so nice and were so patient with my mom. They did everything they could to make her feel at home. My brothers and I are so grateful for how caring and attentive everyone has been to ensure our mom is comfortable and happy in her new place. We know she is safe and well taken care of and that puts us at ease. Thanks so much to everyone at Sunrise for all you do.

Such a community requires a LOT of TLC, organization and planning. Overall I feel Sunrise makes great effort to maintain a well run community and on many points is successful. Overall the staff is very good but There have been too many staff changes and are quite short handed at times, particularly on the weekends. There have been times when mom has waited way too long for aid to help w toileting. I feel Mom is adjusting well.

CriticalREAD THIS BEFORE YOU MOVE IN!
Please read and learn about this place before moving your loved one in if they are unable to defend and speak up for themselves. This Sunrise only takes pride in their assisted living. The Memory "Care" is horrible. I have videos and photos of the way my Mom was treated. She suffered from Lewy Body Dementia. I have photos of her privacy not being respected, her hygiene being ignored, and despite reporting each and every incident, nothing changed, and all the employees are still employed there.
