The facility is convenient to a large area with what appeared to have adequate and capable staffing. The security appeared to be well thought out as well so it should be safe. The length of service of the staff implied good working conditions.

Positive. The care staff are very kind, professional and seem to really care for the patients. Activities. Plentiful. Great long term program director. [name removed]. Negative. Rooms need to be checked throughout the day for patients w bladder and bowel incontinence. Need more vegetables in diet. Especially for vegetarians. Many patients have put on many extra pounds due to all the carbs served at meals and snacks. Quite a high turnover of admin staff and some care aides.

After my children and I visited 6 different memory care facility, we chose Cedar Ridge Alzheimer's Special Care Center to place my husband. I did not want him sitting around watching television or doing nothing all day. Cedar Ridge had lots of activities and exercises to keep him busy. My Mother-In-Law has lived here for almost a year. The staff is wonderful! I feel she is cared for and loved. They have games and the staff is constantly talking and caring for the residents. They learn family members names and really seem to care. Forever grateful.

Great Place For Mom

When I visit mom, I hear things like, “I feel like I’m part of a big family.” “Everyone’s so nice here.” What could be better? We feel like the decision to bring mom to Cedar Ridge Alzheimer’s Care Center was the right decision. She’s happy, busy, and well-cared for. Everyone gathers together for activities, events and meals. This isn’t a place where residents stay in their rooms. And the care-givers are so kind. We’re grateful our friends recommended this place to us.

Dignity and grace

My precious 99 year old aunt resides at Cedar Ridge. Before she was admitted her sweet husband was a resident there. Clean, no smell, decorated beautifully. The best part the residents are treated like people and not like a baby. Residents still understand tone of voice. There are many activities, have worship time which many participate in and they keep family informed.
