I think Charter is a quality place. My father went in with an ability rating 4 out of 5 so he required a lot of attention to get out of bed, restroom etc... They did the best they could but my father was basically room bound and not well enough to participate in any of the facility activities. No fault of the staff, my father was unhappy due to his poor health. Once he incurred an additional health incident in early May that made his health even worse, we chose to bring him home and care for him through hospice. O…

It is an awesome place! Mom loves it there. She has had some lucid moments, and said that she loves the food, lemonade, and all of the people that work there. The Charter staff loves Mom. It is worth every penny spent to see Mom happy. Definitely would recommend to others.

PositiveI absolutely adored this place!!! The tour was awesome! Right now, it is number one on my list of places for Mom. My only complaint is that it is 45 minutes away from where I live. This place is EXACTLY what I had in mind for my Mom — a spa-like treat with 1-on-1 attention given with brain activities and exercise/rehabilitation.

The facility was beautiful and very clean. The staff was friendly. And the food looked and smelled amazing. My dad was only there for 15 days. The Executive Director was amazing! My dad was a eloper and had some behavior issues. When we were touring and also when we were there to sign his lease and arrange for his stay we told them he would be that way. [name removed] stood out, had it not been for her...I would of never brought it dad. There will be a [removed] dollar charge for not using their pharmacy, there will be a [removed] dollar extra charge for internet. They rarely check on your loved ones. They never give them enough to drink. You will sign in your contract that they are absolutely not responsible if something happens to your loved one. It is better than some of the other facilities. They do watch the exit doors well.

The admin people there were so friendly and accommodating. The room they showed us was so much better than the other two. Large and comfortable. The assist staff are friendly and helpful. My mom has actually improved greatly in the two months she has been there.
