CriticalThis facility offers a lot but delivers poorly once you’re there. We amassed over [removed]$ in services we had to pay for which they said , contractually, they would provide. Concerns brought to the administration were dismissed and disregarded. Requests for reimbursement were met with “ it’s being processed” which was simply a put off to see how long it would take us to quit asking, recognizing there was no sincere plan to reimburse. Unless you’re fully prepared to meet your families needs despite their “adver…

CriticalMy Mom was bruised and hurt in this facility. Was in Memory Care approximately 48 hours when they sent her for psych evaluation. Even the ambulance and hospital were confused. This appears to be a common practice. My Mom is a 95 year old, 120 pound dementia patient that moved from living at home. They would hold her down to shower, change or restrain her resulting in multiple bruisings. They discouraged the use of cameras in rooms. On multiple occasions they would not put her to bed. CriticalStood out: Perceived care vs cost and low number of residents at the facility. Would I recommend?: No. My mother has moved out to another facility. Wellington has very high turnover of staff leading to poor and inconsistent care. And, meals were not consistent due to lack of food delivery to the facility. The kitchen staff had to make do with what they had. Rumor was that the main office had not paid delivery fees, so the trucks would not deliver.

PositiveWe would rate it a 5+. What we like the most about the community is the sense of family. A caring and loving staff. Each person is treated as an individual and cared for on their personal level with dignity and respect. We would absolutely recommend this community for your loved one

PositiveMom is overall enjoying Wellington Manor. She still talks about wanting to live at her home & that's why she is not completely content there. When [name removed] left I was worried it would not be as good as it was before but the new administrator is very attentive and doing a great job.
★★★★★
CriticalFood, activities and socialization needs work. My dad didn't have anyone his mental level to talk too. Very lonely for him. Loving workers were great.
