I feel we were oversold on the amount of care available especially since there is no actual nursing staff overnight only patient aids. Most likely no, I would not recommend. Because when my father was taken to the hospital. We were not notified. The only reason we found out was because the hospital called his emergency contact. Which was very concerning.

Clean facility. Nice and quiet location. Your was excellent and not a pushy sales approach. Will keep this place on my list of potential.

Overall would recommend

In general, assisted living helps your family member feel less lonely, less isolated, most of the time improves their diet and their quality of life. When you combine all these things together, their overall health improves. It's always scary at first but doesn't take long, 2 to 4 weeks for your family member to thrive. Be sure to find a facility that promotes activities the way charter does. They go and tell they're residents about the activity and encourage them to join. That's how they will meet friends. Help in the Time of Need.

My experience with Charter was pleasant. The director was very helpful in providing information about the place and financial details. Everyone was very kind. The place was nice and clean. The food was regular hospital food which she wasn't crazy about.

More independent living than assisted living especially after 5pm.

The place was very clean and showed really well. The apartment was a good size and in very good condition. But it does seem that the actual nursing care and assistance was over stated. There is very little staffing during the evening and overnight hours. The communication was lacking. My father was sent to the hospital and we were not notified. Do NOT Leave Laundry Unattended !

Prices in this post ARE INCORRECT! I live at Charter, in Rockford, I l, & do not pay an amount anywhere what is printed in this article. Check for accuracy before posting…. Left laundry drying… went back to check on it BEFORE time set on timer had expired and MY LAUNDRY WAS GONE! Staff didn’t give a damn. Many of my summer tops & slacks have to be REPLACED BY ME!
