The facilities are always very clean, with friendly seasonal decorations, and the grounds are well maintained year round. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful, we're always greeted when we come in, and they all know my mom by name.

I would give a 5 to the people who interact daily with the residents. I would give a 2 to the management because of their daily inconsistencies regarding interaction with hospitals and patients' family members. I would be more than happy to give examples. My husband was there briefly and was very happy with the staff in memory care. Re admin keep asking and checking on everything they say because they don't follow thru. Also watch the money flow. Nice facility, poor administration

The facility was clean, the care staff respectful. the administration has been uncommunicative and incompetent. He needed a form filled out by our long term care insurance when he was admitted on [date removed] and they still haven't done it today (2 months later). He had multiple falls in the three weeks he was there and has spent the last month+ in hospital or skilled nursing facility. So we're still paying out the nose for the place, but he isn't there and they can't fill out a single form.

Review for Chatham Ridge Assisted Living

They should ask about finances because there is an entrance fee that is non refundable and then there is the regular monthly fee. That goes up with your level of care. You also must furnish your own room. It doesn't come furnished. So it's good to know all the finances before you apply. The sales people were very helpful in explaining all this and helping with the application. The nurse was helpful in her assessment of my husband. Our family's experience

The staff are really kind and have been willing to work with my mom and doctors to find solutions to some of my Dad's bigger issues. They've been very understanding. We feel (like most places I'm sure) that they are understaffed and the staff is overworked. But that seems to be a more systemic issue. We also think that a facility that has an extra bathroom outside of the residents rooms could be helpful in reducing some bathroom accidents. But again, that could be a system wide issue.
