These are all subjective and [name removed] may have a different take. I could ask her for her opinion. She's always willing to share what she thinks. Still very aware and observant. But this is what I have observed from my time there.

PositiveVery friendly atmosphere. All staff knew each other and were respectful and grateful to be there. The chief recruitment person greeted housekeeping and maintenance by name. It felt like a very intimate place. I like the dedicated PT and the gym is very well equipped the rooms I saw were spacious. Overall I would say I have been disappointed by the experience. They are disorganized and at times down right rude to the people living there. There are some bright spots, but the oversight and follow through has been generally poor. Disappointing. Many of these issues could be remedied with oversight.

PositiveWe were met by [name removed] who showed us the common spaces as well as a few apartments. We then sat and had a very good discussion about what makes Chevy Chase House stand out. I was particularly impressed by the physical therapy program and how the PT professionals work closely with a personal trainer. The location is fabulous and the retention rate of the nurses aides and management team was excellent. We have not made a decision yet but Chevy Chase House impressed us.
