We took a virtual tour. My sister was too ill to make the visit. We are going to sign on because of the good working relationship you have with the Hospice program with whom we work. They gave you, Sunrise on Connecticut a high recommendation.

We appreciated the tour, which was pleasant and informative. The facility is attractive. We believe that the caregivers are well trained and would offer excellect service to residents. Our concern is the safety of the architectural design of the building—particularly of the highrise facilities—that offer only two elevators. 2026 will mark my husband’s third year at Sunrise on Connecticut Avenue, I visit him everyday, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the consistency of care and the range of ways my husband has been helped and cared for, but also how I have been nurtured, as well. The Light in the Storm

Staff is friendly and helpful. The staff they have seem to want to genuinely help. They're responsive too if you have an inquiry. Facility is clean and lacks odors that would imply otherwise. Typically has parking out front, but otherwise neighborhood parking (for visits). Sunrise is great in an emergency (case for my dad who was down bad) and for elderly who suffer from later stages of ailments. It is an assisted living facility, after all. Review for Sunrise of Connecticut Ave

I would give each category a 5 with 2 notations- *Activities -my husband doesn't participate in the scheduled activities but I have observed them and they are appropriate and varied and seem to reach the residents . *Value for the money is a hard one because it is expensive; although in comparison with other places I've looked at, the costs seem to be equally high everywhere. We have been very satisfied with Sunrise on Connecticut Avenue and would not consider any other placement.

My loved one was previously a resident at Sunrise of Connecticut Ave and the overall experience was great. My limited experience with the staff was great. Communication with the family was good. I would recommend this facility to others.
