Price was best I could find. They keep my mom busy and active Monday thru Saturday. They remind her to attend all activities, which she needs. She enjoys the meals. They get out at least once a week. The staff is kind and very helpful. This was a great choice for my mom. She has dementia, but still wants to be busy

The staff at Colonial Heights and Colonial Gardens are very friendly, very caring to their residences, and their families. Both facilities are updated, rooms are very spacious, and this community is not a chain like most facilities in the area. Colonial has been around for over 40 years. I would highly recommend this Assistance Living and Memory Communities.

CriticalI went with my mother for a tour of the facility. The Marketing Director was very nice and helpful. We found the place to be clean but almost sterile- especially in the hallways. We felt that my mom is much more independent than most of the residents there as many used walkers/wheelchairs/scooters. So at least for now, it doesn't seem to be a good fit.

The residents are nice and seems genuinely happy. The staff is good and very helpful. The apartment is large and larger than others we viewed at other places and is a good size for my mom. I had some issues setting up auto payment so much that I can cancelled it. Their were helpful with that as well.

PositiveWe took a tour with Pam H to see if Colonial Heights would be a good fit for a loved one. From the first meeting, I knew these people cared about their residents. They asked us about our loved one’s interests and story. We toured both the assisted living and memory care areas. They were having dinner so it was nice to see the residents sitting and interacting with each other and staff. There are several floor plans to choose from and other amenities available. Clean facility.
