About the community
CountryHouse in Lincoln (70th and O Street location) was designed and is staffed specifically to benefit individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia. From our many years of experience working with those needing memory care and their families, we know that consistency, security, comfort and a sense of well-being are some of the most important needs to be met. That sounds a lot like home – and that’s why treating people like family is at the heart of what we do at CountryHouse. This isn’t a “typical” memory care community. Just walk in the doors and you’ll understand why. You’ll experience dancing, music, crafts and family members of all ages gathered around to visit. You’ll hear laughter and see smiles, as residents return from a daily adventure out on the town. You’ll see gentle direction from patient caregivers, a soothing environment and a loving atmosphere. You’ll notice residents moving freely about, exploring, chatting, or perhaps enjoying the sun in the beautiful backyard. Most of all, you'll feel a sense of warmth and family. This is an active, joyful community where staff and residents have close, caring relationships, where residents are comfortable, safe and secure and where families can enjoy their time visiting together. PositiveMy mom was previously a resident at CountryHouse Lincoln 3 and the experience was great. I felt like all was wonderful there. My mom was safe and well liked. They interacted with her in a positive way every time that I was there. They always communicated her needs or any issues like illness or falls.

PositiveMy family appreciates all that you did to help my dad and his final days. All the staff there were very kind and always willing to meet with us and answer our questions. They were really good at keeping us informed of what was going on. We feel like they went above and beyond to make sure my dad was comfortable, and that he was placed in the right place where he needed to be. CriticalOur experience with this community was not very good. We felt that Country House was more worried about filling out the paperwork and getting that paycheck then actually listening to the needs and expectations we had for our loved ones care. We repeatedly told them our loved one was a high fall risk, and sure enough within 26 hours she had fallen and broken a hip.
