★★★★★
PositiveThe staff was very caring, attentive, and compassionate. However, there were some downsides. The food was not satisfactory, and there was also an issue with lost laundry, which was frustrating and disappointing.
★★★★★
PositiveMy mother-in-law is settling in nicely in her new place. She enjoys all the people around her each day but still has her own place to retreat. All in all it has been a good experience for her and the whole family.
★★★★★
CriticalIt's gone downhill since she first went in and I'm not a fan of the current director she is nasty to staff and residents but of course not in public. I used to recommend it to other people but not now
★★★★★
PositiveDon't let them talk you into letting them handle the medication, if family is capable to take their medication themselves. Not enough staff on weekends.
★★★★★
PositiveI loved the staff that was there when my mom first moved into Randall Residence of Newark. Then there was a change with the Director who wasn't quite as personable, but ok. The Director of nursing changed three times in one year, which made it hard to get to know anyone. They were responsive to all of my inquiries. I believe that my mom got very good care from the general staff. I would recommend this facility to others.
★★★★★
CriticalGo somewhere else. They trick you into letting them handle medicine then when you realize it, you have to go through a lot to get the medicine back so the resident can take them herself. They even stole some of her controlled substances medication. When she move out they either stole a lot of her stuff or they didn't call me to come and get what she left behind. The food was cold or not eatable.
