The facility was very clean and bright. They have several areas to gather, as well as a separate activity room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food I tried when moving my mom was tasty (hats off to Chef [name removed]!). The apartment my mom chose was perfect for her.

Staff, care, activities, food, cleanliness, and room size are all top of the line. I have nothing but praise in those areas. It is the administration that has been somewhat disappointing. They displayed a lack of interest in helping me negotiate the move-in, payment, or orientation processes. They don't respond to my requests for information or guidance. I feel like they got my money and that's all they care about.

The staffs willingness to work with my mother and I financially and with her needs. The activities and value, are unsurpassable. They have studios and 1 bedrooms. My mom has a studio with kitchenette and private bath. About 250SF.

We used Danbury Woods for my Dad’s hospice care. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and kind. Even though my Dad didn’t participate I noticed quite a few activities that were going on every day. I’ve never been to an assisted living facility with so many friendly employees.

The staff here are terrific. Plans for things to do along with local trips. They provide special events and you can join in or not. Still working through a new chef and that can be challenging. The building is 25 years old and they are working on an upgrade. I believe the one bedroom is more than enough as long as you don't try to put you house into a smaller place that then becomes too small.
