Experience in memory care

Nurses and activity ladies are great! Aides, for the most part, are good. Food is okay. I think assisted living gets better food than memory care. Memory care gets some odd combinations of food. Memory care is not the best for non-ambulatory residents. They are very inconsistent with the time he gets up/ goes to bed. They get him up as early as 7:30 am or as late as 10:30 am. Same thing with putting him to bed at night. I think it all depends on which aides are working. Facility is always clean and no smell. Res…

Nice fit for mom

Since my mom has arrived at the Danbury she has taken care of very well. The staff in the memory care unit are very nice ,understanding ,friendly and accommodating. The area itself is nicely done and everyone is taken care of. The food seems good from what I've seen. My mom's apartment is just enough space for her and is very nice. Overall the Danbury is a nice fit for my mom. It calms my mind that she is somewhere being taken care of.

Danbury - a place for me

I've been in 5 different care facilities and Danbury by far is the best. The staff truly cares whether I'm taken care of or not. The therapy staff set forth a plan to help me to achieve my goals - from helping me keep my balance to being able to walk the whole building without my walker

[name removed] has had wonderful experiences at Danbury. Nurses are attentive, and when asking questions at the reception desk they are all answered. The chef and servers have been very helpful. Any food reports are always handled promptly. Garden is beautiful. Activities are wonderful and she enjoys the special events and sitting out on trips to restaurants.

Resident participates in daily exercise, some activities and events and very much happy with them. Especially enjoy van outings (lunch special event).
