CriticalShe fell a lot. She fell three times in two days and they put her in the hospital. Then we moved her to their rehab side and I kept asking how much time was covered by the insurance and they kept saying they didn't know. Well after three weeks, my husband and I were going on vacation and we got the call that her time was up that day. I called to appeal and an hour later I got the call that it was declined. The next day, I got a call from the director asking how soon we could move her out. I said we were away and sh…

PositiveThey have been unable to keep enough staff to take care of residents!!! As far as the food goes, they need more of a variety, a proper diet for people with diabetes, and more choices to choose from on the menu.

PositiveA facility is only as good as its staff. Deer Meadows Retirement Community, for the most part, has very caring people. They are slow, however, in fixing things in the room and getting a new remote for her TV. I would recommend the facility to others.
