PositiveExcellent Experience!
The staff is excellent. The director is very involved with my grandfather on a day-to-day basis. He is easy to get in touch with via phone call or text message and always quick to respond. He calls me directly when there may be an issue with things like my grandfather's Cable or a routine invoice that hasn't been paid. The food is great. They have many activities and holiday events. Holiday dinners are pretty regular and they always make it a point to honor their veterans on Veterans Day.

Discovery Villages is a very nice facility with lots of space and activities, but what makes them stand our more than anything is their people. They are willing to go above and beyond to help care for their residents. I am so grateful and relieved to know that my parents have such amazing care and attention. Overall, I feel my mom is well taken care of. It was a little chaotic getting her moved in and I felt that at the time, they weren't organized with their paperwork. But I'm happy we forged through that obstacle because she's happy there. She likes the food and activities. They all know her and treat her as if she's family. I do love how clean the facility is. I'm overall happy.

The memory care staff were all phenomenal. The community itself is a very beautiful campus. The assisted living apartments are very nice. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far. It is hard for me to quantify our experience, mainly because my mother was not very cooperative. I don't feel like we had an accurate representation of the assisted-living side. I would definitely recommend the memory care side.
