★★★★★
PositiveOur dad, 86, has been a resident for 1 year and he & we love EL. His room is bright and always clean. There is no smell in the halls. The food is great. Everyone on staff smiles and is welcoming. Lots of great activities including daily happy hours. They have trips and bring groups in, have movies and lectures. He does not engage with as many activities as we would like but the ones we have attended with him have been great. Highly recommend Echo Lake to anyone looking for great quality care.
★★★★★
PositiveThe reason it is not all fives is because they lost several articles of my mom's clothing and her bedding. We were never informed that this is a major issue and I confirmed this in speaking with other residents. One day my mom's laundry and laundry basket were located on a different floor in the facility. Anyone that moves into Echo Lake should be advised that they should label all of their clothing. We were not informed of any of this. It would've been helpful had we known.
★★★★★
PositiveEveryone was professional, compassionate and friendly. After months of visiting and evaluating many independent living facilities, we chose Echo. Unfortunately, 2 1/2 days after moving in, my wife was taken to the hospital by ambulance and could never return to Echo. We had to relocate to another facility a month later for several reasons.
★★★★★
PositiveWe had relatives there that provided us real-time input. Admin staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Staff is very responsive and generally friendly. Facility is very clean and updated.
★★★★★
PositiveLovely facility. Public ares, the rooms, everything is clean and well maintained. To paraphrase, it is the place “where everyone knows your name.” From the smiling concierge as you first arrive, to the Nurse and Med Tech, to the aides and kitchen staff, each person knew your name. Just a great atmosphere. I recommend it highly.
★★★★★
PositiveEcho Lake community is absolutely beautiful and very clean. The staff and residents welcomed our mom during her respite stay. We were very pleased with the staff involvement and professionalism. We have chosen to make this my mom‘s new home in the near future and are confident she will adjust well with our support and the support of the staff. Echo Lake also has wonderful activities for residents.
