I really liked the sense of community. There were lots of activities and a great social environment. I think it's probably a great place for people who do not need assistance. The problem is that my mother [name removed] did need assistance. When Elim Shores did her assessment they told her she was a great candidate to live there and that they could support her needs. Review for Elim Shores

Elim Shores has been great so far. While the building is older and there are drawbacks with that, the people are great and my mom is definitely feeling at home more and more all the time. I would recommend

They were great with doing tours and working with [name removed].

I would recommend Elim for others. They made [name removed] move in go smooth and her apartment was clean and move in ready. I’m not the resident, and I helped my friend [name removed] find a more suitable safer place to live. I would like to see her try out some of the many activities, but she seems to be resisting participation.

Lots to do

Staff is wonderful !!! Small community so making friend is so easy. Just show up and everyone knows you. My apartment is old and doesn't have a dishwasher, they did put in a disposal for me. I plan on possibly get a dishwasher installed. I didn't realize how old this place is. Well taken care of and adding things to do all the time. I really like how staff is working on projects. There is lots to do! They added a boat for time on the lake we are on. I came from a much larger place and staff was very busy. The …

What’s up for tomorrow.

I not feeling well, problems with medications. Two days after moving In I receive notice my rent just went up. I start to hear rumors. It true. We are not a duel independent/assisted but only assisted living. What does that mean?? I am comfortable here, could have a up to date kitchen. They did make it more handicap accessible but still shows it age. No dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave and stove like my grandmother had. They did put in a used disposal that has broken down twice. I like it for nice bedroom …

We had a pleasant tour of this community. We toured it for my father in law, and his needs. Everything went well, this is a nice community. The community was clean, and everything appeared to be well-kept. The staff was kind, and our questions were answered. It was a nice experience, and our tour went well.
